AI Data Analyst – Venture Intelligence

About the Role

We’re seeking a highly motivated AI Data Analyst to join a boutique venture capital firm investing in early-stage AI-driven startups across the US and Europe. This role is an exceptional opportunity to break into two of the most sought-after industries: Venture Capital and Artificial Intelligence.

You will work closely with the Head of AI and General Partners, analyzing structured and unstructured data to detect early signals of high-potential projects, founders, and technologies in AI, robotics, and modern data infrastructure.

This is not a traditional venture analyst position. The focus is on signal detection, research synthesis, and data-driven discovery rather than financial modeling or portfolio monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze diverse digital ecosystems (repositories, publications, research platforms, community channels) to identify promising individuals, research, and projects.

• Develop tagging systems, heuristics, and dashboards to filter noise and surface high-signal opportunities.

• Track trends, momentum, and emerging toolchains in applied AI, robotics, and data infrastructure.

• Collaborate with the internal development team to refine the proprietary data intelligence platform.

• Deliver consistent insights and concise research summaries for the investment team.

What We’re Looking For

Must Have:

• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, product analytics, or ML research.

• Familiarity with the AI/ML ecosystem (tools, communities, research hubs).

• Ability to work with semi-structured and unstructured datasets, detecting patterns and extracting meaning.

• Strong analytical thinking and pattern recognition skills.

• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).

• Time zone alignment: availability until 19:00–20:00 CEST to sync with US-based team.

Nice to Have:

• Basic Python or SQL for data wrangling.

• Exposure to prompt engineering, LLM applications, or AI agent frameworks.

• Experience building tools, dashboards, or intelligence workflows.
