Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to join our team and take a lead role in designing and optimizing cutting-edge cloud solutions within a large-scale, multi-account AWS environment. This role provides the opportunity to work on global cloud architectures, including Global Landing Zones, complex networking solutions, and hybrid cloud models. As a key contributor, you will drive technical strategy, offer expert guidance, and spearhead improvements in cloud infrastructure across multiple regions, ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency.

We will give you the chance to demonstrate and extend your skills and knowledge on a wide range of the most innovative tools, technologies, and methodologies by:

• Designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance AWS cloud architectures, including Global Landing Zones and multi-account structures.
• Leading cloud strategy and execution, focusing on hybrid, multi-region, and multi-cloud solutions.
• Optimizing AWS infrastructures to enhance security, cost-efficiency, performance, and compliance.
• Implementing best practices for cloud security, networking, identity and access management (IAM), disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (SecOps, DevOps, FinOps, networking, and business stakeholders) to align cloud solutions with business objectives.
• Driving automation and CI/CD adoption using tools such as GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline.
• Leading cloud transformation and modernization initiatives, integrating cloud-native and hybrid solutions.
• Researching and recommending emerging AWS technologies to improve service delivery.
• Ensuring cloud governance, cost optimization, monitoring compliance, and enforcing security controls

Qualifications

• Proven experience in architecting and managing complex AWS environments, particularly multi-account and multi-region setups.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services and architectures, including Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, VPC, IAM, AWS Lambda, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, AWS Transit Gateway, and AWS Organizations.
• Strong expertise in cloud security and governance practices, especially AWS Control Tower implementations.
• Experience designing and managing hybrid cloud environments, integrating on-premises infrastructure with AWS.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, and AWS CodeBuild.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with a proven track record of improving cloud efficiency and scalability.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified Security – Specialty) are a plus.
