As a BI Analyst you will be working with Europe’s largest veterinary services provider, and it is the fastest growing scale player, driving consolidation of a very fragmented market composed mainly of single practices or small veterinary groups.
The Company currently operates in 19 countries across Europe and North America consisting of: +9,000 vets who treat +8M pets annually +2,000 First Opinion Practices, hospitals and crematoria a fast growing online pharmacy and digital business with significant scope for further expansion into adjacencies.
The Company is owned by EQT Private Equity, Nestle, Silverlake and a number of minority shareholders many of which work in clinics across Europe.

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented BI Insights Analyst to be join our growing team in an international environment. In this role, you will analyze complex datasets to deliver actionable insights, driving strategic decision-making and optimizing business performance. Your expertise will help functional teams to better understand customer behavior, trends and performance within the veterinary industry.
Through the work you will be doing in the BI team, you will be part of building one of the most comprehensive sources of veterinary data in the world with the ultimate aim to continually improve our own operations, help advance veterinary care and improve medical outcomes. The team is autonomous and has great responsibility and freedom to find the best solutions possible.
In terms of technology, we use the Microsoft stack including Azure SQL and Databricks and Power BI as our platform for visualization and data/report sharing as well as Python.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will
- Support specific data driven projects and topics by helping supply relevant data, doing analysis and generate insights, often in close collaboration with other Group functions (example of topics include Referral flows, Customer analysis, Sustainability, Marketing and Pricing)
- Analyze large and complex datasets from various sources (e.g., Practice Management System, Finance, Customer feedback)
- Present insights to key stakeholders at various levels of the organization including Executive Team members
- Develop insights to identify growth opportunities, assess risks, and understand customer behavior
- Create clear and concise visualizations in Power BI
- Work closely with existing colleagues to support & share best practices
- Explore and understand the data available from the Group's various systems and data sources. This work is often done in close collaboration with the Data Engineering team
- Reports to Head of Group BI
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business, Economics or a related field.
- SQL experience: ability to wrangle and extract data from SQL databases using views, joins, unions, where and case when clauses
- Power BI experience: at least 2 years of working with Power BI
- Strong Analytical skills: experience using python to perform statistical analysis
- Analytical with a structured approach to tasks
- Excellent communication / presentation skills in English as stakeholders will be located in numerous different countries with Head Office in England
- Curious, self-starter with strong time management and prioritization skills

- Experience with predictive modelling and machine learning techniques
- Experience from human or pet healthcare
