Join our diverse team of 500 highly skilled people within the Credit & Wealth Unit, as our team in Belgrade is looking for a Business Analyst who will be the link between our customers and developers and help further development of the Specialized Lending System (SLS).
The team for Specialized Lending is expanding, and this is a unique opportunity to become part of it and work together with our colleagues from Norway in enterprise level projects for leading Nordic and European banks.
Job description:
SLS is a loan and guarantee management system that handles corporate products, such as multi-currency loans, syndication, guarantees etc. The solution is sold to international and Norwegian banks and to Export Credit Agencies, and we currently have several ongoing projects. Our technology platform is Microsoft-based (.NET, C#), JavaScript and SQL Server. Focus areas are UX, web services, database programming and cloud development. We are also adapting an agile development process.
As a Business Analyst in Credit & Wealth, you play a key role in shaping the customer experience throughout the software implementation lifecycle. You work closely with stakeholders in the banking and finance sector during critical project phases, leading workshops to gather requirements, guide configuration decisions, and support data migration planning.
Your role bridges business and IT, requiring strong analytical and communication skills to translate customer needs into actionable development tasks. You ensure that customer-driven development aligns with our product suite, collaborating with the Product Owner to deliver scalable, reusable solutions.
You’ll be part of a skilled, agile team of developers, testers, and analysts. Your responsibilities include facilitating customer workshops, supporting demos, training, validation, and go-live activities, while proactively managing and escalating risks and issues to project management.
You as a candidate:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or other relevant requirements work, preferably in fintech industry or in banking.
- Obtained a Master or Bachelor university degree in Economics (accountancy or finance) or an extensive experience with loans
- Strong communication skills, driven personality and an ability to plan and conduct customer workshops
- Requirement documentation writing skills based on standard methods and tools
- Strong credit management competence, e.g. within loan administration, guarantees, syndication, export credits etc.
- Have ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions
- A capability to be a true team player, and at the same time being able to work independently
- Technical skills in areas such as SQL, UX or .NET are considered a plus
- Excellent knowledge of English language
