Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand a business problem or opportunity
• Undertake research and analysis to understand how a business or business area works, considering the people, organization, processes, information, data, and technology
• Identify areas for improvement, explore feasible options, analyze the effects of change, and define success measures
• Identify and elaborate user and business needs to enable effective design, development, and testing of services and business change
• Identifying issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts
• Creating functional specifications for solutions​
• Make decisions related to prioritization and minimum viable product by using analysis-led insights
• Ensure new products and services meet business and user needs and are aligned with organizational goals
• Understand any business and policy constraints that need to be considered, and assess the implications
• Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by the whole team​
• Implementing and testing solutions​
• Supporting business transition and helping to establish change Perform additional duties and activities as requested by the First Line Manager or CTO.

Academic Background:

• University Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Electronics, or a related field.

Specialized Knowledge:

• The ability to understand and analyze problems and find solutions
• The ability to think creatively and work collaboratively with teams to solve business challenges
• The ability to make decisions around things such as requirement prioritization, scope, assessing the viability of solutions, etc.
• Requirement gathering is a key part of the role so the ability to ask the right questions and correctly understand the information received is essential
• Creating documents such as use cases and business requirement documents
• The ability to present findings and recommendations to senior leaders and to manage stakeholder meetings
• Proficiency in English.

Professional Experience:

• 3+ years of work experience in BA on software development projects
• Deep knowledge of technologies: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio (or respective BPM tool), Microsoft Teams, Jira & Confluence (Trello, Monday)
• Experience with domains like requirements management, project management, document analysis, data modeling, data analysis, wireframing, agile methodologies, business process modeling, SQL, NoSQL, UML
