DevOps Engineer

The Engineering Services unit is dedicated to excelling in embedded software development, engaging in a variety of projects. These include development of smart home alarm systems, smart sensors for autonomous driving, and development of next-generation in-cabin monitoring systems (monitoring driver fatigue and attention, detecting passenger presence in the cabin, etc.).

Your role would include:

• Helping integration of Tools and Applications into the development process
• Being involved in tool and design evaluation, and later taking responsibility for the rollout and operations of tools
• Managing a professional relationship with all stakeholders with a high level of social and technical competence
• Ensuring that processes, tools and applications provide the best development experience together with Software Developers
• Helping develop a state-of-the-art software factory environment and providing it to engineers
• Helping increase development performance with automation tools and frameworks for continuous everything (CI, CD, CV)
• Maintaining and upgrading company’s software factory environment by designing efficient infrastructure and workflow
• Helping reduce manual efforts by automating processes and workflows
• Implementing monitoring solutions to ensure quality of service
• Implementing performance analysis to identify bottlenecks and support demand prediction
• Investigating technical issues and developing a sustainable solution

Requirements:

• Academic education in computer technology (BSc or MSc degree)  
• 3+ years of experience in a similar positions
• Experience with Python, automation of workflows and CI/CD frameworks (e.g. Jenkins)
• Experience with enabling monitoring, load management and performance analysis (Checkmk, Prometheus, etc.)
• Experience with containerized/virtualized environment (e.g. Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g. Ansible, Vagrant etc.)
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
