Job Description:
As a DevOps Team Lead / DevOps Manager at Insightful, you will blend your technical expertise in cloud environments and CI/CD processes with your leadership skills to optimize our DevOps practices. You will manage a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our cloud infrastructure, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture, and driving continuous improvement in our deployment and monitoring processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, conducting regular one-on-one meetings and providing clear, constructive feedback
- Oversee the management and organization of our Cloud environment on GCP and on-premise environments, including tasks related to CI/CD and Release Automation
- Be responsible for high availability and reliability of production environments, and implementation of robust monitoring and alerting systems
- Provide technical guidance and support, assisting with troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Collaborate with development teams to refine and enhance deployment processes
- Create and maintain onboarding plans for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the team
- Conduct technical interviews and contribute to the hiring process for new team members
- Develop and implement individual objectives for team members, aligned with overall team strategy
- Foster a sense of psychological safety within the team, protecting them from disruptions and outside interference
- Report to the Director of Engineering on team performance, progress, and training needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or a related field, with expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and orchestration (K8s)
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, demonstrating strong communication and people development skills
- Experience with GCP infrastructure, or alternatively AWS/Azure
- Proven knowledge of CI/CD tooling and processes
- Strong experience in managing production environments with high uptime expectations
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to mentor and guide team members in technical matters
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar
- Familiarity with managed services like Mongo Atlas and Elastic Cloud
- Hands-on coding experience, with the ability to contribute to technical projects up to 50% of the time
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Vrlo transparentan pristup apsolutno svemu. Kolege odlične. Atmosfera u timu pozitivna i svi su uvek otvoreni da pomognu. Niko ne izigrava policajca već se nadređeni oslanjaju na radnu etiku svojih članova tima. Fleksibilnost je velika, s tim da se rezultati očekuju. Ukoliko postoje urgentni taskovi, stavlja se više ljudi na projekat umesto da jedan izgori i ostane prekovremeno. Čak ni softver za monitoring ne mogu da stavim u negativne utiske jer vas pored njega nadređeni ne cimaju i ne stoje nad glavom. Retka atmosfera za naše podneblje.
