DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure using AWS services.
• Container Orchestration: Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for a microservices-based architecture.
• Automation: Develop CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery and deployment.
• Monitoring & Alerting: Set up and maintain monitoring systems to ensure high availability and performance of critical services.
• Incident Management: Respond to production incidents, troubleshoot root causes, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and product teams to design and maintain robust systems that meet business needs.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• Experience: 3+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
• AWS Expertise: Proven experience with core AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and VPC.
• Kubernetes: Hands-on experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in a production environment.
• User Base Scaling: Experience managing infrastructure supporting over 1 million active users.

Bonus:

• Database Knowledge: Familiarity with PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and high-availability configurations.
• Microservices Architecture: Understanding of microservices and related technologies like service mesh or API gateways.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
