Developer Team Lead

in Belgrade office

• You have a previous experience working as a team lead

• You are experienced with IBM WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Portal
• You are experienced with  Atlassian development stack

Your daily work will include the following tasks:

• Plan and coordinate software system development in collaboration with Product Owner, Solution Architect and other Team Leads Subdivide a complex software system (or sub-system), during the design phase, into smaller, more manageable pieces Communicate the functions of each component, interactions and dependencies among components to developers Keep manageable, scalable, portable and performance consideration in mind
• Lead the team of 4 - 5 developers setting personal example of strong work ethic and high quality standards
• Plan, coordinate and monitor Your team’s work and deliverables
• Provide guidance to team members regarding system design and implementation
• Perform code reviews, enforce clean code practices and ensure project specific architecture and implementation guidelines are followed 
• Report on team’s progress to Product Owner, Solution Architect and other Team Leads

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Java EE Development
• Impressive track record of professional achievements
• Strong knowledge of common open source technologies (Spring, Hibernate etc.)
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (Java-script, Jquery, Angular etc.)
• Proficient with Spring Web Flow
• Experience with Business Rules Management (Drools) and Business Process Management (Activity)
• Proficient with relational databases 
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to learn fast, desire to learn, develop and create meaningful impact;
• Willingness to travel within Nortal’s geographies
