The Finance and Operations Manager supports the Head of Finance in managing core financial activities, including selected operational and administrative processes. The role has a strong focus on day-to-day financial activities, with additional responsibility for operational processes related to procurement, internal controls and office management.
Core responsibilities:
Finance & controlling operations
- Handle and track customer invoices in coordination with sales and project teams
- Monitor and approve incoming invoices, ensuring correctness and compliance with internal procedures and external requirements
- Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding invoices and payments
- Support daily cash management activities
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities in cooperation with Accounting
- Prepare internal financial reports and analysis for management and Head of Finance
- Support audits, documentation, and internal financial controls
Administration, Operations & Procurement
- Manage suppliers and service providers' contracts and company documents
- Manage the procurement of IT and office equipment process
- Monitor inventory of office and IT equipment and maintain related records
Process Improvement & Data Integration
- Support improvement and standardization of internal processes across Finance and Operations
- Improve data consistency between internal systems, Excel files and ERP/accounting tools
- Document and standardize workflows and identify efficiency opportunities
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in finance, controlling, business operations, preferably in IT or fintech
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP (e.g. Navision) systems is an advantage
- Proficiency in English
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, business-oriented mindset
