We are hiring a Full Stack Java Software Engineer

Hybrid working model - Novi Sad office

We are hiring a Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join our progressive journey with Synechron Serbia, building Java-based Web applications for our prestigious clients from the financial and insurance domain. As an integral part of our experienced IT team, you will be at the forefront of crafting solutions that are benchmarks for the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full lifecycle of a long-term, enterprise-level software development project
• Work on a complex project focused on modernizing and enhancing an existing system
• Develop new features using Java/Spring/Spring Boot, alongside React for enhanced frontend user experience
• Uphold and advance best practices and methodologies in software development
• Work within a distributed international team
• Follow the Scrum/Agile methodology

Requirements:

• A strong medior or senior Full Stack Java/React Software Engineer with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience
• Proficiency in Java and React, with a solid understanding of Spring Boot and Hibernate for enterprise application development
• Experience in building web-based software solutions within a Full Stack development environment
• Expertise in frontend development, especially with React
• A solid foundation in working with relational databases, with a strong grasp of SQL
• Demonstrable knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Previous experience working in Scrum/Agile team environments and contributing to complex software development projects
• Strong command of the English language, with effective communication skills for collaboration within an international team

Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS cloud technologies and familiarity with Cognito and ElasticSearch
• Understanding or experience with Microservices architecture
• Exposure to messaging systems or event-driven architectures would be advantageous
