Our Client is a well-established bank operating in our market. Due to their further development we are looking for a Head of IT Department to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing and managing tasks and projects within the IT Department.
- Ensuring the maintenance and functionality of software platforms and applications.
- Preparing reports and insights for the Bank’s management.
- Overseeing the development of communication and network infrastructure.
- Defining project tasks and overseeing their implementation on a global level.
- Participating in system analysis related to project requirements.
- Ensuring all necessary conditions for BCP (Business Continuity Plan) functionality.
- Planning, negotiating, and participating in the procurement of application solutions for the Bank’s information system.
- Managing the operation of primary and DR (Disaster Recovery) sites.
- Supervising and leading the Bank's electronic services.
- Initiating and planning the procurement of IT equipment.
- Organizing preventive and corrective maintenance of communication infrastructure.
- Regularly reporting to the Executive Board member in charge of Information Systems.
- Budget planning and management for the department.
- Organizing and overseeing database administration activities.
- Managing changes to the Bank’s Information System.
- Leading projects related to system updates and new implementations.
- Overseeing testing processes for system modifications.
Requirements:
- University degree in IT or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Experience with IT system implementation and management.
- Knowledge of banking processes and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to analyze, plan, and optimize IT systems.
