About the Team:

FIS Front Arena is a leading global provider of financial software. We build systems for financial trading, risk management and position control.

Our systems enable banks, hedge funds and other financial institutions to make critical decisions with confidence, execute their orders and follow up their positions. Independent of what asset class being traded: whether it is stock, commodities, rates, or currencies; or whether it’s done through an exchange or over the counter, we’ve got it covered.

That’s just parts of it. We support the whole process from sell-side to buy-side, front-to-back.

Software security is first class citizen in FIS and Front Arena. We do spend a lot of effort to ensure we release software using best security practices and adhering to industry and FIS security standards. Security Analyst is person to enable all Front Arena teams and engineers smooth journey and make sure our release train hits its deadlines. All this needs to be accomplished in alignment with number of internal policies, organizations and stakeholders related to security.

What you will be doing:

• Perform analysis and develop holistic solutions around vulnerability remediation.
• Design resolution for backlog of past due vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with development teams, product owners. PS, CX to plan, test and implement solutions
• Identify and remediate potential security risks to the business
• Identify opportunities and execute plans to improve workflow and understands and quantifies business impacts of those improvements for communication to management.
• Help with risk assessment and acceptance process with security issues
• Provides status reports on security matters to develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures.
• Creates information security documentation related to work area and completes requests in accordance with company requirements
• Other related duties assigned as needed

What you bring:

• University degree in Technical Sciences
• Excellent communication skills along with ability to converse with people at different levels
• Excellent analytical skills
• Good understanding of application security principles and standards
• Knowledge of vulnerability types and classes
• Good understanding of product development lifecycle
• Good understanding of releasing workflows
• Ability to read source code and explain vulnerabilities within the code
• Knowledge of SQL, Excel, PowerBI
• Good understanding web servers and WAF
• Good understanding of network, Microsoft Windows or UNIX platforms
• Fluency in English language
