Mobile Engineer (playRISE)

PLAYSTUDIOS, Inc. is the creator of the groundbreaking playAWARDS loyalty platform, and a publisher and developer of award-winning mobile games, including the iconic Tetris® mobile app, POP! Slots, myVEGAS Slots, myVEGAS Blackjack, my KONAMI Slots, myVEGAS Bingo, and MGM Slots Live. Besides USA and Asia, Playstudios Europe has opened its doors in Belgrade in 2021.

On the Client side we are developing a unified platform SDK for our games on Android, iOS and Unity.

The Backend engineers in the team are responsible for building high-scale cloud-based real-time systems.

We love clean architecture and implementations that plan ahead and see the big picture (product-wise and technology-wise), we encourage learning (and failing) and sharing, and we deeply believe in taking responsibility and ownership on our projects.

We’re looking for a team player with strong and to-the-point communication skills, who’s not afraid of asking others and of self-learning. While having constant guidance, we expect you to grasp complex systems quickly and take full ownership of your domain.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain our in-house SDK product that serves all games in Playstudios on various of mobile platforms: Android, iOS & Unity
• Create technical design documents based on product requirements.
• Own features end-to-end, from design and POC, through development and testing, to release and monitoring.
• Execute full software development life cycles, working in Agile methodologies (sprints, Jira, planning).
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to solve problems and get things done.
• Analyze and improve the efficiency and stability of our system.
• Collaborate with developers across the company to understand their requirements and provide technical support for SDK integration.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with agile processes and changing requirements.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong English communications skills- verbal and written.
• BSc in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
