Product Manager (Edge Compute& Serverless)

As a Product Manager at bunny.net - The Content Delivery platform that truly Hops! , you will lead the charge in shaping and developing our next-generation Edge Compute solutions. In this pivotal role, you will drive the execution of our product strategy, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative, high-quality products to market. Your deep expertise in edge computing, container orchestration, serverless technologies, and ideally AI, will be instrumental in delivering solutions that meet our customers’ needs and fuel business growth. With a proven track record of launching successful Edge Compute products, you will play a key role in advancing our technological edge.

What will you do?

• Develop and Refine Edge Compute Product Vision: Craft a forward-looking vision for our Edge Compute product line, ensuring alignment with market needs and the broader bunny.net - The Content Delivery platform that truly Hops! platform. Continuously refine this vision as the market and technology evolve.
• Oversee the Full Product Development Lifecycle: Manage the entire lifecycle of our Edge Compute products, from ideation through launch and beyond. Focus on infrastructure, engineering, processes, and overall reliability, ensuring products are robust, efficient, and scalable.
• Drive Innovation at the Edge: Stay at the cutting edge of industry trends, particularly in edge computing, container orchestration, and serverless technologies. Identify opportunities for innovation and lead the development of solutions that meet current and future market needs.
• Pursue Exceptional Customer Experiences: Work to exceed customer expectations by delivering powerful, intuitive, and reliable Edge Compute solutions that set new standards in the industry.
• Set and Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Establish and track KPIs to measure the success of our Edge Compute products. Use these metrics to drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure seamless product development and launch. Facilitate communication and coordination across departments.
• Develop and Maintain Comprehensive Product Documentation: Ensure that all product documentation is thorough, up-to-date, and contributes to customer knowledge resources.

What will you add?

• Proven Experience in Edge Computing: A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management with a focus on edge computing, container orchestration, serverless platforms, or similar domains. A strong track record in leading successful products in these areas is essential.
• Innovative Mindset: A passion for innovation and a deep understanding of emerging trends in edge computing, containerization, and AI at the edge. The ability to translate these trends into actionable product strategies.
• Exceptional Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with product goals. Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical, especially in articulating complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
• Strategic Vision: The ability to develop a long-term strategy for Edge Compute products that aligns with the broader company vision and market trends.
• Deep Technical Understanding: Extensive knowledge of edge computing, container orchestration, serverless environments, JavaScript, WebAssembly (WASM), and related technologies. Familiarity with AI compute at the edge is a plus.
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of making data-driven decisions and developing strategic solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Experience in Setting and Managing KPIs and OKRs: Demonstrated ability to establish and manage product KPIs and OKRs that align with broader business objectives and drive customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency with Jira and Atlassian Tooling: Hands-on experience using Jira and other Atlassian tools for product management and collaboration.
• Fluent in English: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
