Project Manager & Technical Coordinator (AI/ML Team)

The Role

We’re looking for a Project Manager & Technical Coordinator to compliment our Data Science/AI/ML team. This position bridges the gap between project management and technical execution. This individual will collaborate with a seasoned development team consisting of software developers, data engineers and ML engineers —ensuring smooth project delivery for a high-profile client (residing in US time zone). The role involves coordinating tasks within PlainView AgilePlace (LeanKit), maintaining Kanban workflows, and serving as the primary client point-of-contact. Additionally, you will devote your remaining time to either documentation, data analysis, or marketing efforts—depending on your strengths and the project’s needs. This is a full-time position that offers a hybrid setup (1–2 days in-office preferred; remote possible the rest of the time). Full professional proficiency of English language is a must.

Key Responsibilities 

Project Coordination & Kanban Management

• Organize, maintain, and update tasks in PlainView AgilePlace (formerly LeanKit).
• Track progress, remove blockers, and facilitate daily or near-daily stand-ups—especially in alignment with a client who is US time zone so the daily stand-ups would be performed at end of day.
• Collaborate with the CTO to prioritize tasks, schedule deliverables, and ensure timely completion.

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client communications (status reports, requirement clarifications, etc.)
• Coordinate meeting agendas and document outcomes, escalating critical issues to the CTO where necessary.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

•  Work closely with ML engineers, data engineers, and full-stack developers to keep tasks on track and identify any workflow improvements.
• Ensure alignment among different teams and manage integration points for various components (ML models, data pipelines, web interfaces).

Documentation & Reporting

• Write and maintain project documentation, including technical specs and user stories.
• Prepare concise status reports reflecting progress against KPIs (on-time delivery, client satisfaction).

Additional Utility

• Data Analysis & Visualization: Support the AI/ ML team with basic data queries, chart creation, or experiment tracking.
• Technical Writing & Documentation: Create clear, user-friendly guides for internal and external stakeholders.
• Marketing & Knowledge Sharing: Assist in producing content that showcases NSigma’s technical expertise and project achievements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Project Management: At least 2 years of experience in project coordination or junior project management, preferably in a tech or data-driven environment.
• Kanban/Agile Familiarity: Experience with tools like LeanKit, Trello, or Jira. Certifications (e.g., Kanban Management Professional) are nice-to-have but not required.
• Technical Aptitude: Comfortable learning basic data workflows and machine learning concepts. Some background in finance is a plus.
• Communication Skills: superb written and verbal communication in English (client-facing role).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, finance, or related field is preferred—or equivalent hands-on experience.
