About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer who will help us design, develop, and implement user interfaces for our cutting-edge sustainability tech platform. This role involves translating complex data and analytical insights into intuitive and engaging user experiences, ensuring our products are visually appealing and functionally effective. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in frontend development with a passion for user-centered design and a commitment to building accessible and performant web applications.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working as a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for:

Developing and maintaining high-quality, reusable frontend components and features using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React, Angular)
Working closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to translate design concepts and wireframes into clean, efficient, and scalable code
Building web applications that are accessible to all users, across a variety of devices and browsers, adhering to standards
Implementing performance best practices to ensure fast loading times and smooth user interactions
Following coding standards and best practices, participating in code reviews, and contributing to a culture of quality
Keeping abreast of the latest trends and technologies in front-end development, advocating for their adoption when appropriate
Maintaining and enhancing the stability, performance, and reliability of frontend applications by leveraging monitoring tools, debugging issues, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments
Collaborating cross-functionally with backend and DevOps teams, ensuring seamless integration and scaling of frontend services within the overall system architecture

What You’ll Need

Product Engineer mindset
5+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies
Proven experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React, Angular) and state management libraries (e.g., Vuex, Redux).
Proficiency in building responsive and accessible web applications
Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Jest, Cypress)
Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques
A passion for building high-quality user experiences
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Frontend expertise
Self-starter, able to take ownership and initiative, with high energy and stamina
Decisive and action-oriented, able to make rapid decisions even when they are short of information
Highly motivated, independent and deeply passionate about sustainability and impact
Excellent oral and written English communication skills (minimum C1 level-proficient user)

Nice to Have

Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js).
Experience with TypeScript or Python
Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
Strong understanding of Lean and Agile (small increments, iterative development, vertical slicing, MVP, etc.)
