It helps entrepreneurs and content creators produce professional videos with just one click, by handling everything from background noise removal to automated captioning and unique background music composition - just like a human video editor would. Founded in August 2023, we're a fast-growing company with a small team of less than 10 people, currently raising our Seed round and expanding to reach customers in the entire world.

As a Senior Engineer, your expertise and autonomy will be pivotal in driving our projects to success. With your extensive experience, you'll make decisions even with limited time and guidance from product owners. Key responsibilities

• You will work end-to-end, contributing to our client application written in React and our API backend written in NodeJS, and managing the safe release of new features to our customer base.
• You will have sole ownership of projects that span months, requiring you to have the ability to break a problem down into small steps that can be delivered and validated iteratively.
• You will work with a small friendly team of engineers and founding members with a flat management structure. You will have the opportunity to shape the direction of the product.
• You will focus on the long-term scalability of the platform, designing and implementing engineering solutions and features that can handle increased demand while staying ahead of the latest trends in AI

Is this job for you?

This role is for you if:

• At least seven (7) years of experience as a software engineer, at least 3 on the senior/lead level.
• An ability to work across the stack, from implementing complex UI interactions to optimizing database queries and scaling the overall architecture,
• You have solid experience working with AI/LLM assistance for coding (eg. Copilot, Cursor, Aider, etc.)
• You have some experience working with LLM APIs (such as OpenAI, Claude or Llama) and other AI models
• You have a good knowledge of deploying high-availability applications on Docker & Kubernetes.
• You have a good understanding of testing software and different testing methodologies (unit, integration & e2e). You understand how to create quality products.
• You’re an excellent communicator, you know how to work transparently and you’re able to work well asynchronously
• You enjoy shipping regularly and having an impact

Nice to haves:

• Prior experience working on a video editing or video-related product
• Prior experience training and deploying LLMs and other AI models
• Experience with any of the following: C++/OpenGL/FFmpeg.
• Experience in working with startups

Availability and working conditions

This is a full-time position with our fully remote team, allowing you to work from home, available between 10:30 - 17:30 CET.

We are a flat organization focused where strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a drive for success are essential.

We use standard Scrum practices, including Sprint planning meetings and asynchronous stand-ups. Additionally, we plan to organize in-person team gatherings in pleasant and warm locations in the future.

The annual salary range for this position is €80,000 - 100,000 EUR.

Our interview process involves several technical interviews and we aim to complete them within 2 weeks.
