Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor applications and systems within the team's scope.
- Analyze and resolve service requests and incidents reported by internal users.
- Provide ad-hoc project support to the IT team as needed.
- Engage directly in supporting core systems and applications within the Bank.
- Document events, issues, and their resolutions in logs, and create manuals.
- Manage various types of applications including IIS, Tomcat, and SQL.
- Analyze daily activities and explore opportunities for enhancing technical processes through automation, services, job scheduling, and monitoring.
- Facilitate direct communication between project managers, business owners, and local development teams in future projects.
- Maintain technical proficiency across a range of evolving technologies.
- Establish and maintain positive client relationships, providing updates with a proactive and positive attitude even in stressful situations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Master, Bachelor or high school degree (preferably IT oriented)
- A minimum 3+ years of working experience on similar
- Good organizational and communication skills, proactive, problem solving oriented
- Fluency in English both verbal and written
- Analytic skills
- Technical skills required:
- Linux - Services configuration (apache tomcat, apache webserver; haproxy, my sql, postgres); Basic troubleshooting: reading logs for errors, telnet, netstat, services restart, how processes work;Administration: creating folders, permissions and ownership, basic movement trough file systems, download/upload files over sftp and ssh.
- Windows Server – basic troubleshooting of services, log analysis
- IIS web services – services configuration, management and troubleshooting
- SQL PL/SQL - executing of basic SQL queries (SELECT, UPDATE, INSERT...)
- PowerShell scripting
- Active Directory – familiar with the concept of Active Directory and basic user/groups maintenance
- Postman API Tool, SWAGER API Tool, SOAP UI
- Experience with following solutions preferred but not mandatory: Jasper reports administration; DMS - Alfresco administration; IBM web sphere administration; Centreon Monitoring Tool (Nagios, SNMP, NRPE)
