Senior Software Engineer - Android, Kotlin

What you'll do

• Contribute to our portfolio of Automotive UI Products from requirement to delivery;
• Build compelling new user experiences within TomTom’s applications;
• Bring your expertise to reduce technical debt and avoid bugs;
• Develop online and onboard applications for in-car multi-screen platforms;
• Work with a complex, 100% Kotlin Multi-Platform based codebase;
• Bring new and creative, innovative ideas to the table.

What you'll need

• Excellent, hands-on programming skills in Kotlin or Java with proven working experience;
• A quality-first mindset;
• Strong communication skills across functions (UX, Product Management, Operations);
• Openness and willingness to support others and take initiatives;
• Passion for continuous improvement and experimentation;
• Product minded with UX/UI knowledge and exposure;
• A willingness to understand that the Automotive market has demanding requests and tight deadlines.

What's nice to have

• Knowledge of Android platform, UI and MVVM architecture components;
• You have been part of a Product Team (e.g. in a start-up setup);
• Experience with Android/Automotive;
• C++ working experience.
