Senior Testing Services Consultant

About the team and the role:

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Testing Services Consultant specializing in automated testing. In this role, you will be a crucial member of our team, providing testing services to clients for various FIS products from the Treasury group. You will play a key role in ensuring the success of client engagements by overseeing progress, budget, planning, and resourcing. This position is an exciting opportunity to lead the testing efforts for cutting-edge financial products, utilizing your expertise in automated testing.

What you will be doing:

• Client Engagement Management: Lead and manage client engagements, ensuring successful delivery of testing services.
• Requirement Analysis: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, propose best practices, and create optimal test case specifications.
• Test Strategy Definition: Develop comprehensive test strategies, covering GUI and API tests for Web applications.
• Technological Expertise: Utilize your expertise in technologies such as Python, Robot Framework, JAVA and Selenium to engineer automated testing approaches.
• Collaboration: Work in close cooperation with development teams to integrate testing seamlessly into the software development lifecycle.
• New Product Testing: Lead the testing efforts for new products, including tools assessment and ensuring the application of best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process, identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.

What you bring:

• Experience: Proven experience in automated testing, with a focus on GUI and API tests for both Desktop and Web applications.
• Technological Proficiency: Proficiency in one of: Python, Robot Framework, JAVA, or Selenium, is required.
• Client-Focused: Strong ability to understand client needs, propose effective solutions, and ensure successful delivery of testing services.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both clients and internal development teams.
• Project Management: Experience in managing client engagements, monitoring progress, budget, planning, and resourcing.

• Tool Assessment: Experience in assessing and implementing testing tools to enhance the automated testing process.
