We are looking for Software Developer Junior to join our Team in Nis, Serbia.
General purpose of the job: To develop and modify software applications by given functional or technical specification, if necessary, to collect, research and analyze the requirements for the existing and new software applications as well as develop, test and maintain software solutions that meet these requirements, to respond to the company needs.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- To develop computer software systems that meet the needs of the company and provide their due maintenance while the copyrights on the created products shall be company’s property;
- To implement the programs made by him/her and make and manage software tests and validation procedures;
- To modify and maintain the existing software for debugging, adapting to a new software environment or updating the interface and improving its capability.
- To coordinate the tasks he/she works on with the line manager, as well as with the company departments that have requested these tasks, to consult the technical staff to evaluate the interface between hardware and software.
- To document adequately the newly created software and the modifications of the existing software; to plan and report the exact time spent on tasks, projects and products;
- To develop, update, evaluate and document maintenance procedures for the created software applications.
To fulfill his/her duties in correspondence with the Company Quality and Environmental Policy; the long and short terms goals of the Company;
- To know and observe strictly the regulations for health and safety at work.
Requirements:
- Higher technical education / university degree / preferably in the field of Information Technologies;
- Programming skills;
- Knowledge of data base (Oracle) is considered a plus;
- Good communication skills;
- Pre-Intermediate English level.
