SysOps Engineer
Responsibilities
- Participates in meetings with stakeholders for projects setup and deployment
- Installation patches and updates of the OSInstallation, configuration and maintenance of necessary application tools based on Developers Software solution on Linux and Windows environment
- Script Development for specific tasks
- Monitoring of Application and License servers
- Identify issues, concerns and escalate them to the superiors.
- Quickly resolve issues and minimize impact on end-user productivity and overall organization
- Propose tooling and process improvements and automations
- Maintain and improve user documentation
- Maintain internal knowledge base and how-to documentation
About you
- At least 2 years of working experience in System Administration in Linux server environment
- Working in RHEL, CentOS (installation, configuration and monitoring of applications)
- Scripting language knowledge (ideally Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft server and client operating systems
- RGD mindset: willingness to learn new things, investigate unknown problems and improve existing implementation
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage projects according to schedule
- Good command of written and spoken English
It would be a plus to have
- Experience in managing AWS cloud environments
- Basic knowledge of IaC tool (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline setup and administration
- Good knowledge of Ubuntu
