Job summary:

Our company has an opportunity for an experienced System/Network Administrator to join our team and take responsibility on software development infrastructure, including network, servers, software and OS.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Design, documentation and subsequent installation, configuration, monitoring and support of the overall technical infrastructure required to sustain the various phases of development, implementation and support
System capacity planning
Choosing equipment for implementing the infrastructure
Performing and configuring scheduled backups
Operating system, software and hardware support and maintenance
System monitoring, identifying problems
Improve operation of the infrastructure based on pro-actively monitoring and user requirements
Improve and establish processes for infrastructure development and maintenance
Technical support

Desired Skills & Experience:

Managing and troubleshooting Internet-facing Java-based web applications, including Tomcat and GlassFish.
Managing and troubleshooting Internet-facing Linux environments, including RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, Apache, nginx
Managing and troubleshooting MS Windows Server and AD
Managing and troubleshooting Oracle database servers
TCP/IP networking, Firewalls, Routers, Switches
Networking technology and networking infrastructure services and protocols (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SNMP, etc).
Working knowledge of standard development infrastructure tools (SVN, GIT, etc)
Virtualization technologies
Experience with backup
Shell scripting skills
Written and verbal communications skills + problem solving skills
Experience with ITIL
Business level English
