About The Team:
FIS Cross Asset Trading Risk (CATR) suite of products provide Trading and high-end Credit and Market Risk Management functionality to top tier banks and financial institutions around the world that deal with a variety of asset classes in their Trading and Banking book portfolios. This position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the testing efforts for cutting-edge financial products, utilizing your expertise in automated testing. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their testing needs and deliver effective solutions.
What You Will Be Doing:
The role includes understanding the scope of requirements for automated testing, technical configuration, test case automation, and interacting with clients directly to discuss requirements and assist with training. As a successful candidate you are a self-starter with ability to build working relationships and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You have a willingness to take ownership and drive projects and tasks to completion, review, discuss and work within agreed timescales and provide feedback to project managers as necessary. You will be a part of agile driven team working on a state-of-the-art testing tool with other consultants and software developers.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years in a client facing delivery or implementation role, working on financial software or in banking/risk management
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Finance
- Experience with Programming language such as Python, Robot Framework or SQL
- Excellent Problem Analysis and Problem-Solving abilities. Should be able to grasp business logic quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Added Bonus If You Have:
- Functional Skills - Knowledge of Capital Markets or Credit/Market Risk. Basic knowledge of various financial instruments – Fixed income, Money market, Equity
- Strong Excel Skills
- Excellent Documentation Skills
