Great in-house product with a lot of potential and a well chosen niche with expanding customer base. Software development teams with many talented, collaborative and experienced people. It is easy to fit in, the team members accept new members quickly with ease, and are open to help and answer all questions. You feel accepted and supported by everyone, and the people at Setvi are the company's main asset. Overall good team culture, and a lot of autonomy. Potential for growth and advancement, if the company develops in the expected direction, and it seems that it will.

With the rapid growth that the company is currently experiencing, there is a lack of strategic approach, clear prioritization and a clear structure. A lot of incoming requirements and workload on dev teams are preventing the teams to establish processes/procedures, refine or properly understand the requests and the expected behavior of functionalities they are developing. Without the product owner/manager it takes longer to remove dependencies and understand the desired outcome and value delivered to the client and stakeholders. This is a typical start up issue and will probably be resolved eventually. Management should focus on defining a clear and prioritized roadmap, and understand principles of value driven delivery in order to streamline the flow of work towards teams better, and focus on main priorities instead of trivial changes and client-driven development. Having a clear and documented process about how work flows towards teams with one dedicated person as PO or PM (and extensive domain knowledge) would speed up development by removing multi-channel requirements flow, limiting work in progress and enable focus by providing clear prioritization and business logic (this also prevents team burnout).

Timski ručak jednom mesečno. Pojedine kolege od kojih može da se nauči dosta.
Zamerke
Kompanija bez misije i cilja. CEO i CTO dva čoveka koja odlučuju o svemu. Toliko sujete na jednom mestu nije nigde viđeno. Mešaju se do najsitnijih operativnih stvari dok bitne stvari stoje na ledu. CEO se ponaša kao pravi "gazda". Dodje i otpusti radnike koji mu se ne svidjaju bez osvrta na mišljenje team lead-a i HR. Jer on najbolje zna. Firmin cilj je da radnici rade preko agencije da bi mogao CEO da ih otpusti bez ikakvih zakonskih problema. Plate daleko ispod proseka. Visinu plate prema senioritetu određuju prema prosečnoj tržišnoj vrednosti. Pa ako neko ko npr ima platu 1000 eur (na koju se plaćaju porezi i doprinosi na pun iznos)...oni plaćaju 1000 eur na agenciju. Poreze od te sume uplaćujete sami sebi. Od benefita nema ništa osim 30 eur dodatak na platu za privatno zdravstveno. Za taj iznos ne možete uplatiti privatno zdravstveno ni u jednom osiguranju. Ljude iz Srbije koji dobiju otkaz, jako brzo zamene Indijci koji tamo dođu preko neke rodbinske veze a koji nisu prošli pored računara a kamoli programiranja. Pa se posle vi patite sa njima dok vlasnike firme to ne interesuje jer vaše mišljenje nije bitno. Veoma loš managment se odrazio i na upravljanje projektima. Sprint planning, review i sl. su stvari koje su odavno zaboravljene u ovoj kompaniji. Taskovi su u vidu naslova ili boljem slučaju FIGME. Od developera se očekuje da sam smisli šta će da radi.
