Position Summary
As an Animator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, production-ready animations of characters, creatures, and objects for film and television. You will be using cutting-edge tools and technology to augment the animation pipeline for faster and better results. A basic understanding and usage of scripting languages like Python or Mel is necessary. Strong knowledge of the principles of classical animation and anatomy of humans and animals, as well as good drawing skills, are also required. You will work closely with R&D (AI/Machine Learning) and our founding team on designing and implementing cutting-edge technologies for film and television.
What we are looking for
- Expert knowledge of 3D software like Blender or Maya
- Strong Character/Creature Animation skills
- Robotics character animation skills a big plus
- Good knowledge of traditional animation principles, acting, and composition
- Great problem solving and creative thinking skills aimed at producing high-quality animations and pipelines
- Rigging experience is a big plus
- Familiarity with film and VFX production
- Basic understanding and usage of scripting languages like Python or Mel
- Familiarity with game engine technology
- Knowledge of other 3D or 2D software is a plus
