Backend Software Engineer

We're seeking a Backend Software Engineer to help scale our advertising automation platform.
You'll work on high-performance services that process marketing data and power our core product features. We create distributed, message-driven solutions that blend the best of cloud and on-prem technologies, to create impactful software at scale.

At Hunch you will:

• Design and develop scalable backend services using .NET or related technologies.
• Implement high-performance data processing techniques using caching strategies.
• Ensure APIs are robust, efficient, and follow best practices.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technical solutions.

We think you are a good fit if you have:

• 2+ years of experience with .NET or related technologies
• Strong understanding of API design and sound understanding of event driven architecture
• Experience with high-performance data processing using caching strategies to lower latency and improve efficiency
• Proficiency in writing clean, testable code
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Tech Stack:

• Primary: .NET
• Secondary: Node.js, Python
• Database technologies and message queues
• Microsoft Azure Cloud & DevOps tools

Interest in AI/ML technologies is a plus.
