Cloud IB is a fast-growing startup aiming to revolutionize the investment banking industry by providing digital analytics tools to investment banks, consulting firms, investors and corporate clients around the world. We are based in Zurich, Switzerland, and Belgrade, Serbia, and are looking to expand our team.

Cloud IB is looking for a Front-End Developer to join our team based in Belgrade. The role involves building out our B2B front-end for our data analytics platform. You will be guided by an experienced freelance front end developer who has developed our existing front-end to this stage. Your day-to-day work will include close collaboration with our senior management / founders who have extensive experience at tier 1 investment banks in the U.S. and Europe. The role is a great opportunity to take responsibility and participate in shaping technical and organizational processes in a startup.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop the UI / UX design for our data analytics platform
• Influence features and their implementation from requirements gathering to delivery
• Co-design the front-end systems and application landscape
• Contribute with your ideas and initiatives as part of our agile environment
• Continuously improve our technology stack and work processes, code reviews and team development

REQUIREMENTS

• Familiarity with JavaScript tools incl. React/Redux, other state management libraries, and TailwindCSS/ TypeScript
• Interest in learning to set-up CI / CD pipelines for production
• Ability to turn design specs and templates into web applications; familiarity with tools like Webflow, Figma
• Ability to build appealing interfaces on your own or take part in deciding the design
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Knowledge of major Python libraries and frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, pandas, SQLAlchemy
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly, self-motivation, excellent communication skills, independent work attitude
• Interest or experience in DevOps is a plus
