Geospatial Developer (REMOTE)

As a Geospatial Developer supporting the United States Geological Survey (USGS), enhancing and nurturing the public’s relationship with the land becomes a profound mission, making information more accessible and engaging. Contributions will transform functionality into something magical, crafting web experiences that empower exploration of the world in new and exciting ways.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a content related field AND 5+ years of related experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with Python, Javascript, and preferably, experience with React.JS in creating web products.
• Exhibited experience with Geospatial Data handling, related industry standard applications such as ArcGIS and/or GDAL
• Established proficiency with AWS
• Proven experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, Terraform
