We have been consistently growing since 2006 and currently looking for Java Developer to join our Delivery Services team based in Belgrade, Serbia. As a Java developer at Westum you will be working within a team on development of large enterprise applications.

TITLE

Java Developer

Location: Belgrade

Responsibilities

• Develop applications utilizing technologies and tools like Spring and GWT, and other open source frameworks
  
• Participate in the feasibility analysis for new systems and conceptual and technical design
  
• Contributes to the development of project plans and timelines.​ Provides estimates for planned work.​
  
• Follow the best practices in software development to ensure high quality deliverables
  

BASIC Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in JEE software development
  
• Experience with JEE related technologies (Spring, ORM, Hibernate, JSP)
  
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP / REST / JSON)
  
• Experience with Tomcat or JBoss application server
  
• Proficiency with Front-end technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  
• Excellent knowledge of Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns
  
• Excellent understanding of Relational Database concepts and SQL
  
• Good English written and verbal communication skills
  

Preferences will be given to candidates with:

• Experience with e-Commerce, Content & Document Management
  
• Experience with Google Web Toolkit (GWT), Linux
  
• Passion for improvement and learning about new technologies and software development practices
  
• University degree in technical or related sciences
