TAS Group, international Fintech company market leader in innovative software solutions for payments and financial services, is looking for a brilliant Java Software Engineer for its subsidiary TAS Eastern Europe d.o.o, based in Belgrade, Serbia, which contributes to strengthen the development capacity and offer of TAS in the South East European Region.
The chosen candidate will be part of the broader international development team, will work autonomously on new developments or on maintenance according to business and planning needs.
Main duties and responsibilities:
The selected candidate, properly introduced and trained on our products, will have the following responsibilities:
- Design and develop new software solutions
- Identify issues and critical points, proactively resolving them
- Follow unit test or integration test plans
- Contribute to the development and achievement of challenging goals
Professional requirements:
- Java/J2EE development experience - EJB, JMS, JPA, Spring Boot, Spring Batch
- RDBMS skills - Oracle, PostgreSQL
- Experience in multi-platform development (Windows, Linux)
- Being familiar with one or more of the most popular application servers (JBoss, WebSphere, Tomcat)
It’s considered a plus:
- Knowledge of microservices architectures on container orchestrator (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Agile, SCRUM development methodologies
- Knowledge of Angular, JQuery, javascript, AJAX technologies (optional)

- Good command of written and spoken English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective teamwork skills, collaborating and sharing information
Level of Education: Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
Location: TAS Eastern Europe offices are located in Belgrade, Serbia.
