Junior Security Engineer

About your role

As a Junior Security Engineer in our Back Office - Quality team, you will be:

• Monitoring security alerts and logs to identify potential threats
• Performing analysis of vulnerability assessments to identify and address security weaknesses, and monitoring the remediation process
• Assisting in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures to protect the organization's data and networks
• Helping investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation
• Working closely with IT and other departments to ensure that security best practices are followed
• Keeping up with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture

About you

• You have 1+ years of relevant experience
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• You bring knowledge in Cyber Security
• You are skilled in OS system administration (MS Windows, Linux), and have a solid background in monitoring and maintaining IT systems
• You are familiar with TCP/IP network protocols
• You have knowledge of a minimum of one programming language
• You are adept at using MS Office tools
• You possess an intermediate level of English proficiency
• You are a problem solver, detail oriented and resourceful
• You are team oriented
