As a Salesforce developer, your primary focus will be custom Salesforce development and integration with third-party services. You will be working with other engineers and developers on different layers of the infrastructure. Skills set you should possess:
- Experience with SFDC toolkit (Visual force, Apex, Lightning Component Framework (Aura and LWC), Triggers, Apex Data Loader, etc.).
- Experience in developing SFDC custom objects, workflow rules, and approval process.
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Excellent understanding of Salesforce.com’s SOQL, Web Services and security model.
- Excellent understanding of Salesforce.com’s Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Force.com product offerings.
- Experience developing in an Agile software development environment.
- Integrating Salesforce.com software with 3rd party solutions.
- SSO and Web services experience.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Day to day challenges:
- Translate functional requirements into technical requirements
- Design and build high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex code with best practices
- Write and consume API:s, (mostly REST)
- Write test classes for the class that you develop and ensure more than 80% code coverage
- Take ownership of project work and develop client relationships
