Senior Java Developer

TeleTrader is announcing the following vacancy within its Crypto department:

Senior Java Developer

Main Tasks:

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including continuous delivery to production
• Contribute to the architecture and design of the product 
• Develop highly scalable and reliable backend services 
• Write clean, tested and well-documented code 
• Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement 
• Collaborate efficiently with colleagues within the team and across teams 

What are we looking for:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent industry experience 
• 5+ years of experience in Java 
• Experience with multithreading/concurrent programming 
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) 
• Proficiency in written and spoken English 

Optional but highly valued:

• Experience with Scala programming language 
• Familiarity with reduced or zero garbage programming for JVM 
• Experience with event sourcing systems 
• Interest in crypto currencies
