Software Engineer

Quectel Wireless Solutions is leading global IoT technology developer and cellular module supplier of 5G, LTE, LTE-A, LPWA, Smart Module, C-V2X, GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSPA(+) and GNSS modules. Due to business expansion on Serbian market in newly opened R&D Centre, Quectel is looking for motivated and proactive candidates to join our team in Belgrade.

Required qualifications:

• At least Bachelor’s degree in technical or electrical background, IT, telecommunications, or computer science
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant working experience
• Experience with embedded software development lifecycle
• Proficiency in C,C++, Python, and Linux/Unix based systems
• Good understanding of object-oriented languages
• Experience with version control systems
• Fluency in English

Preferred skills:

• Experience with cellular technologies
• Experience with Android system development
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and design patterns

Main responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, maintain, implement, and design complex project modules and embedded software
• Participate in the project scope definition and solution design
• Support in the definition of software requirements
• Develop and improve software components
• Participate in code review, testing, integration, and validation
• Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Work with external data sources and APIs Communicate with and support company customers in alignment with sales team if needed
