What you will do
As a Compositor, you will combine live action and computer generated elements into production ready visual effects shots for film and television. You will be using cutting edge tools and technology to augment the classical VFX pipelines and approaches for faster and better results. You will work closely with R&D (AI/Machine Learning) and our founding team on designing and implementing cutting edge technologies for film and television.
What we are looking for
- Strong knowledge of Nuke or similar node based compositor (Fusion, Blender internal, etc.)
- Knowledge of matte extraction, painting, roto, 2D motion, compositing, etc.
- Strong aesthetic skills in judging photo-realism and color
- Previous compositing experience in film or commercial production environment
- Strong sense of photography, composition, lighting, color, and motion
- Knowledge of some 3D package as Blender or Maya is a plus
- Scripting experience is a plus
- Ability to work gracefully under pressure to meet deadlines
