AWS Consultant – Observability & Monitoring

We are seeking an AWS Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in observability, monitoring, and alerting to help us set up end-to-end monitoring across multiple APIs and workloads deployed on AWS. This is a client-facing position, so excellent oral and written English is required.

What you’ll do:

• Implement monitoring for API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, ECS/EKS, and databases.
• Configure CloudWatch dashboards, metrics, logs, and alerts for proactive system health tracking.
• Use CloudTrail, X-Ray, and EventBridge for tracing and troubleshooting distributed applications.
• Define alerting strategies to quickly identify failures and performance bottlenecks.
• Build automated reports and scheduled insights on system health, performance, and reliability for stakeholders.
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand requirements, present solutions, and provide ongoing support.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience with AWS observability tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, CloudTrail, Config).
• Strong knowledge of logging, tracing, alerting, and reporting best practices.
• Experience monitoring serverless and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with automated reporting tools (CloudWatch Insights, Athena, QuickSight, or third-party integrations).
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills (mandatory).
• AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps, or DevOps) preferred.
• IaC skills (Terraform / CloudFormation) – nice to have.
