We are looking for a creative DevOps Engineer to manage the transition between project planning and software deployment. In this role, your duties will include designing and implementing robust DevOps pipelines to automate software delivery processes. You'll collaborate closely with development teams to optimize code deployment, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning. You will also be required to forecast project duration and cost.
To ensure success as a DevOps engineer, you should demonstrate extensive experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on automation, continuous integration, and deployment practices.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute with expertise on information system options, risk, and operational impact
- Manage the installation and configuration of solutions
- Collaborate with developers on software requirements, as well as interpreting test stage data
- Consult with management on the operational requirements of software solutions
- Develop interface simulators and design automated module deployments
- Complete code and script updates, as well as resolving product implementation errors
- Oversee routine maintenance procedures and perform diagnostic tests
- Document processes and monitoring performance metrics
- Apply best practices in network administration and cybersecurity
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering and collaboration
- Ability to install and configure software, gather test-stage data, and perform debugging
- Ability to ensure smooth software deployment by writing script updates and running diagnostics
- Experience in managing highly available applications and infrastructure on Azure
- Experience with cloud infrastructure spanning multiple accounts, regions and availability zones
- Advocate and practitioner of modern approaches to systems management and infrastructure automation tooling (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience and ability to create custom scripts in PowerShell
- Comfortable using Git in a team setting, applying CI/CD principles to infrastructure build and deployment processes
- Cloud networking and security experience
- Knowledge of Docker and container-based technologies and CI/CD tools
- A drive to improve processes and practices within the team and utilize the latest technologies
- Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
- Proficiency in written and spoken communication in English
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, or similar

Ok plate za poziciju, kolicina posla nije strasna mada zavisi od smene i posao nije toliko kompleksan. Radi se jedna smena u koju se dodje i to je to, nema izrabljavanja. Takodje, pozitivne stavke su prva i treca smena. Nije losa firma da se stekne neko IT iskustvo ili da dodjes u smenu, odradis svojih osam sati i iskljucis se, prekovremeno i vikend dezurstvo je adekvatno placeno. Ko ide u developere ili bilo koji drugi deo firme a da nije MSP je samo po sebi pozitivno i u tim delovima firme se ljudi dugo zadrzavaju i mnogo bolje su tretirani.
Zamerke
Zadrzavanje ljudi u MSP delu firme je kratko jer se ljudi tu tretiraju kao da su nize kaste, menadzment ljude gleda sa visine. Postoje pravila ali ona se ne odnose na sve, ljudi koji su duze u firmi ih ne postuju i pokazuju los primer novim kolegama. Naziv pozicije je Cloud Operations Engineer a u stvarnosti treba da se zove Helpdesk Agent ili Windows Administrator jer od operacija ima samo monitoring alat. Ocekuju javljanje na telefon za bilo kakvu vrstu problema, radi se uglavnom na helpdesk problemima pored Office 365 administracije i Azure-a, ima malo Linuksa. Sledeca zamerka je beskoristan security koji svoj posao uvaljuje helpdesku, cita best practices na internetu i implementira stvari koje nemaju veze sa okruzenjem. Druga smena je takodje zamerka jer je atmosfera u njoj toksicna zbog klijenta i kolega koji se trude da sto vise hvataju krivine. Preporuka menadzmentu i HRu ako uopste ovo citaju je da promene naziv pozicije iz Cloud Operations u Helpdesk Agent da bi ljudima bilo jasnije za sta se prijavljuju i sta da ocekuju. Takodje bi bilo lepo da pocnu da cene ljude nebi li se malo duze zadrzali u firmi.
