Linux Systems Administrator

Job Description:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Apache, MySQL, Exim, NGINX, Postfix, Courier, Docker and DNS
• Application installations, configurations, and day-to-day administration
• Diagnose complex customer application issues and provide quick and accurate solutions
• Working with and troubleshooting all of the following, including, but not limited to: SMTP, SNMP, SNTP, POP, FTP, SSL, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, telnet, SFTP, DNS, RDP, TCP, ICMP, and UDP.

Assets:

• Experience in working with AWS, Rackspace, cPanel
• Experience in working with Open Database Connectivity, MSSQL, MySQL
• Advanced knowledge of Apache, MySQL, and Exim
• Linux Shell Scripting, Perl
• Ability to develop and apply fresh ideas and creative solutions
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English
• Well-developed communication skills and a strong work ethic
• An ability to work independently and also as part of a team
