You will:
- Lead the patch strategy development, planning, prioritization, and execution of patch management program across the corporate and customer cloud IT infrastructure
- Lead the team of Engineers that will execute and overview patching maintenance
- Partner with the Cloud Operational Engineering Support and Cloud Delivery Engineering teams on the execution, maintenance, and improvement of day-to-day patch management and vulnerabilities remediation activities
- Maintain a close working relationship with both teams to ensure vulnerability management and patch management programs are coordinated and meeting SLAs for patching
- Perform proactive security research for Microsoft Windows, Azure and AWS Cloud Platforms
- Establish and maintain a test environment, test procedures, and pilot group to allow thorough testing of patches prior to full deployment
- Plan and coordinate patch schedules with Engineering teams to ensure no conflicts are encountered
- Work with DevOps and Engineering to identify and execute ways to automate and orchestrate patch management
- Assist in the development and maintenance of security standards, patching policies and procedures as it pertains to on-premise VMs, Desktops and Thin clients, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) in the Azure and AWS Cloud, consistent updating of systems security processes within the Windows, MacOS and Linux stack
- Maintain the assets/Configuration Items (CI’s) within the automated patching tools to ensure all assets are up to date and relevant to reduce risk and improve visibility and security posture
- Manage and oversee the assigned tickets including incidents and requests; create appropriate changes for any modification or upgrades on the servers
- Assist in the maintenance of the windows servers, including patches and security update both in all WinOps environments including the Cloud
You have:
- 3-5 years of System Administration experience in a Windows, Linux and/or MacOS environment
- 3-5 years of experience working in information security, information technology, or information risk management related field
- Experience in leading a patch management program/team
- Ability to operate effectively as a team leader to set goals and drive the team to achieve
- Faculty degree in Electrical Engineering, IT or similar field and related professional certifications
- Ability to clearly and efficiently communicate with the internal management team and customers
- Adheres to policies and procedures relating to standards of business conduct, ethics, and conflicts of interest and completes annual training in the same
- Leverages expertise by sharing lessons learned, documenting processes, contributing to team de-briefs and training
