TeleTrader is announcing the following vacancy within QA team:

Quality Assurance Analyst (Financial Products)

About QA Team:

QA team is engaged in manual testing of applications being developed at TeleTrader. Team members work closely with the developers in order to produce and deliver reliable applications

Main Tasks:

• Evaluating and testing new or modified software solutions within the TeleTrader product portfolio
• Performing functional, regression, and acceptance tests of a release before moving new versions into production
• Identifying, reporting, tracking, and verifying issues in the issue tracking software used by the development team
• Investigating problems reported by internal and external users, recommending solutions, and working with the developers to fix the issue
• Supporting developers with product advancement throughout the release cycle

Requirements:

• Educated and experienced in one of the following areas: Economics, Business and Finance or 1+ year of experience in financial software testing
• Solid understanding of the financial markets (participants, processes, technologies, financial instruments)
• Fluent written and spoken English (proficiency in German will be considered an additional asset)
• Very strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn to operate an unfamiliar software or technology
• Good understanding of quality assurance as a part of the software development process
• Attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and cooperate with peers
• Candidates with automation testing experience will be given priority
