At the ETH spin-off Lightly, we build software solutions to help companies improve their deep learning models. The available data for deep learning grows faster than human tagging and available compute power. Our customers already face this problem and have too much data to process. As a solution, we built software to identify and work with the most relevant samples only. Tasks:
As a Software Engineer, you’ll be building and improving our product to run on various hardware for real-time applications. Specifically, you will:
- Design and implement new features to solve customer needs.
- Work across our stack in Rust, C++, and Python.
- Contribute to our automated building and testing pipeline.
- Collaborate with our Machine Learning Engineers to productionize our ML models.
- Uphold high engineering standards and bring consistency to the codebase, infrastructure, and processes.
Requirements:
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent coding skills and previous experience with one of Rust or C++.
- Willingness to learn Rust, C++, and Python.
- Knowledge of software engineering and software design best practices, e.g., code review, testing, continuous integration.
- Interest in new technologies.
- A creative, collaborative, and product-focused mindset.
- Previous experience with a multi-platform build system in C++ or Rust is an advantage.

Holycode je kompanija za razvoj softvera osnovana 2014. godine sa kancelarijama u Švajcarskoj, Srbiji i Rumuniji. Specijalizujemo se za pružanje usluga razvoja softvera našim klijentima po nearshoring modelu. Fokus nam je na stvaranju i održavanju transparentnih i uspešnih dugoročnih odnosa.
Pružamo podršku biznisima koji su bazirani na tehologijama. Pokrivamo sve od ideje do velikih i visoko skalabilnih platformi.
Trenutno je u Holycode-u više od 380 inženjera specijalizovanih za razvoj softvera, razvoj firmware-a, testiranje softvera, administraciju sistema, upravljanje projektima i dizajn.

Od 2014. godine i otvaranja kancelarije u Beogradu, usled značajnog rasta, otvorili smo još šest drugih kancelarija, te danas poslujemo na sedam lokacija u četiri evropske zemlje. Na teritoriji Srbije, Holycode ima kancelarije u Beogradu, Nišu i Novom Sadu. U Rumuniji smo otvorili kancelariju u glavnom gradu, Bukureštu. Kako bi bili bliži klijentima i partnerima, 2022. godine smo otvorili i kancelarije u Bazelu i Cirihu, a 2023. smo iz istog razloga proširili poslovanje i na Berlin.
Pored razvoja proizvoda, omogućujemo klijentima jačanje poslovanja kroz sveobuhvatna ERP rešenja. Naš tim je realizovao bezbroj migracija sistema, novih implementacija i ima bogato iskustvo u konsaltingu, održavanju i nadogradnji Microsoft Dynamics BC 365. Tim čini petnaest stručnjaka za razvoj i konsalting koji blisko sarađuju sa našim klijentima širom Evrope.
Mišljenja smo da timovi ne mogu da iskoriste svoj pun potencijal ako je sve samo posao. Baš iz tog razloga smo kreirali zajedničke prostorije gde naši ljudi mogu da se opuste ili zabave sa kolegama u prijateljskom meču stonog tenisa ili stonog fudbala.
