Context:
In the Engineering department and as part of the Quality Portal team, this role involves contributing to, organizing, and planning the design, development, and testing of Quality Portal products within our SaaS software platform. Working in an international, multicultural environment, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across the world as part of an extended team.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality components and applications to meet client and business needs.
- Work closely with product owners, QA, tech leads, and cross-functional teams in Europe, the UK, and the US to ensure the success of assigned projects.
- Understand client technical and functional requirements to deliver solutions that enhance product functionality and usability.
- Promote development best practices, such as code reviews, documentation, and efficient version control using Git.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to streamline processes and improve product quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT-related field
- At least 3+ years of experience developing browser-based software applications in .NET architecture.
Mandatory requirements:
- Extensive experience with .NET / C# development frameworks
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web Forms
- MSSQL database
- Front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
- Familiarity with SOAP and REST services
- Git
- Familiar with Agile Methodologies (Scrum)
- Experience working with distributed teams.
- Strong organizational skills
- Display detailed, critical, quality-oriented, and skeptical thinking about the product
Nice to have requirements:
- Working with Microservices
- Working with NoSQL databases (RavenDB)
- Experience with Containerization (Docker & Kubernetes)
- Familiar with CI/CD processes
- Familiar with developing cloud-based applications (using GCP)
Hierarchy and interactions:
- Part of the Quality Portal team, reporting to the Serbian Retail Engineering Manager
Language skills:
- Fluent in English, additional language skills are a plus
