PHP Software Engineer

You will:

• Be part of the PHP team working on business software ideal for small businesses, self-employed and start-ups
• Be involved in development of new features and maintenance of existing functionalities
• Work within team responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching
• Maintain the existing codebase, troubleshoot bugs and add new features.
• Be involved in architectural and design decisions and take over mentoring younger team members where appropriate
• Perform peer code reviews and ensure that unit tests are well written

You have:

• University degree in computer sciences (or equivalent)
• At least 2 years working experience
• In-depth know-how of OO PHP, MySQL
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks - experience with Symfony 1 and / or Symfony 2 will be consider as asset
• Good knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Experience with modern REST APIs (OAuth 2.0) and SAML 2.0 will be consider as asset
• Knowledge of modern backing services such as elasticsearch and rabbitMQ will be consider as asset
• Openness to new technologies
• Perseverance
• Team spirit
• Excellent spoken and written English skills
