Grid Software is looking for a

Senior .NET Developer

who will join our Belgrade development team leading to a full time position with our Canadian team in Calgary. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new solutions, improving, refactoring, enhancing, supporting and maintaining existing software. The candidate will play a key role in design of desktop applications based on models which are strictly defined by XML schemas governed by appropriate Smart Grid international standards. This is a senior position reporting to General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Help design and develop application components driven by existing and future platforms
• Work with product owners and clients to review business requirements, prepare technical design documents and functional prototypes
• Perform software construction, unit testing and debugging which may include both development of new software and reuse of existing code or modification of existing programs

Experience and Skills

• University or equivalent education (ETF, PMF or FON preferred)
• Good knowledge of C# (3+ years of experience)
• Good knowledge of OOP concepts, design patterns and RDBMS (MS SQL server)
• Knowledge of desktop development (Windows Forms and WPF) and XML
• Knowledge of SQL and T-SQL
• Knowledge of ASP.NET Web Forms or ASP.NET MVC
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks
• Knowledge of Web services development (WCF or Web API)
• Familiar with Agile software development and Test driven development
• Ability to work in an international team with international customers
• Good verbal and communication skills in English
• Open-minded
