Senior .NET Developers

Location: Belgrade

Position:

Old Country is currently looking for several Senior.NET Developers to be part of a dynamic and highly skilled development team creating state of the art software solutions for a number of ongoing international projects for our reputable clients. To be successful in this role, the applicants should possess significant software engineering experience with .NET applications, including the design and implementation of web application solutions. The position requires a strong communicator with excellent problem solving skills who will be a great asset to the team with his/her proven development experience in using .NET, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, MS SQL, MySQL and JavaScript.

Responsibilities:

• Software product design, architecture, development and maintenance within the Product and/or Services development team
• Design and develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle
• Develop applications by coordinating requirements, schedules and activities
• Support end users by developing documentation and assistance tools

Requirements:

• Strong functional understanding of WEB development, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), OOP concepts
• High-level knowledge of ASP (classic and .NET), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C# (VB.NET is a plus), XML, JSON
• Experience with MVC patterns, JQuery (Kendo and/or ExtJS is a plus), Web Services and REST, Visual Studio and TFS (Github is a plus), IIS; Telerik is a plus
• Good understanding of relational database concepts and basic knowledge of database administration of databases like MS SQL Server, MySQL; Oracle is a plus
• Capability to work by Agile methodology is required
• Experience with Azure is desired

Previous experience / knowledge required:

• BA or BS degree preferred
• Minimum two years of professional experience in web application development with .NET
• Minimum two years of working experience with RDBMS like MS SQL Server and/or Oracle, MySQL
• Team leadership experience is a plus
• Experience in delivering projects on time and on budget
• Self-motivated, team oriented, responsible and reliable with a positive attitude
• Candidate must have the ability to work in a structured, yet flexible and dynamic environment
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with various levels of personnel, including end users, executive management, and developers
• Must have strong analytical and time management skills
• Ability to resolve complex problems
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Ability to travel abroad when required
